Amanda and Chris decided to have a Curtis Center Wedding and we couldn’t have been more excited to capture their day. Amanda is a top notch planner and it shows in all of her details throughout the day. The city of Philadelphia has so much character and you can’t find a bad location to shoot in Center City. The Atrium at the Curtis Center is located smack dab in the middle of some of our favorite places to shoot in Philly. You have Washington Square park, 2nd National Bank, as well as The Merchant’s exchange building all within walking distance. Needless to say we took advantage of all of them!
Amanda and Chris started their day at The Sheraton in Society Hill where Mia Crivaro from Creations By Mia did and outstanding job on Hair and Makeup. From here all the guys including Chris piled into a trolley to head over to the Merchant’s Exchange Building to get ready for the first look. Amanda and her girls arrived shortly thereafter to see her groom for the first time.
After all the fun of painting the city white we finally arrived at our venue to kick off Amanda and Chris’ Curtis Center Wedding. Kyle Michelle Weddings did an amazing job bringing Amanda’s vision to life. We walked into every brides dream setup and may have even shed a tear. Alicia Martino, from Beautiful Blooms, did a wonderful job on all of the florals. We love when Brides have a live band at their reception and The Love Jones Band didn’t disappoint. They had everyone out of their seats all night long. The whole day was also captured by Ashe Productions and their teaser can be viewed at the bottom of this post.
Amanda and Chris’ alumni families are such die hard Penn State fans, that they couldn’t pass up a chance to show their school spirit at every turn! Everywhere you looked you could see that the love for their school was undeniable. So kick back, and enjoy this gorgeous Penn State wedding.
Because THEY ARE MARRIED!
