It is an absolute honor when another wedding photographer asks you to capture their wedding day. So, when our friends Kailey and Adam asked us to photograph their barn wedding, we jumped at the opportunity! Kailey and Adam are one of the sweetest couples we know. They met back in college during a 3-D design class and have been in love since. We loved that the couple decided to have their college art Professor, Bruce, officiate their ceremony! And Adam even wore his camera around his neck as he walked down the aisle –love!!
Adam got prepared for the day at Ryan Hulvat Studio, while Kailey got ready in the bridal suite at Barn Swallow Farm. The ceremony and reception also took place at the Barn. Barn Swallow Farm is family owned and operated by the Nappa family. Situated on 12 acres of farmland, the property provided a rustic and picturesque setting for the couple’s barn wedding. The Nappa family did an incredible job setting the stage of Kailey and Adam’s wedding while staying true to the couple’s vision and helping the day flow easily.
Kaylie and Adam’s day was filled with so much love and joy. Kailey put in so much time adding beauty details to the venue space. We loved her handmade paper flowers, their personalized mason jars and the sweet photos they hung of each other around the reception. Kailey’s dresses were absolutely breathtaking. She had a friend design her wedding gown as well as a shorter reception version of the dress. It was amazing to watch her dress designer, Mallory Zondag, help her switch the dress skirts and actually cut length off of the ceremony gown!
Absolutely a wedding we will never forget! Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day.
