When Jasmyne and AJ contacted us about shooting their Wedding in Dominican Republic we couldn’t have been more excited. The event took place at the Dreams Resort and Spa La Romana, DR. We hadn’t shot a destination wedding out of the country before but we were up for the challenge. Come along for the ride as we take you on one of the most incredible weddings we have ever had the privilege to capture. This Dominican Republic Wedding week started with a magnificent private White Party on the beach with family and friends. If you are looking for a little romance, laughter, and pure emotion all with the most incredible backdrop, you have found it! Parents and friends all gave heart felt toasts as they sipped on Brugal rum and coke and cocktails prepared in coconuts. It didn’t stop there though. After enjoying an amazing feast on the beach we ended the night with a massive bonfire and paper lanterns. I feel like I could stop there but we are just getting started.
Its the Wedding Day! Jasmyne planned every detail of her Dominican Republic wedding from afar but you would never know it. She did an exemplary job and left nothing out. Three shades of Blue/ Tiffany, Cornflower, and Ocean all mixed with white, and silver. These were Jasmyne’s colors of choice and they couldn’t have been more perfect. Jasmyne and her grandmother had been collecting broaches to put in her bouquet as well as her bridesmaids bouquets for several months leading up to the wedding. They really made all of the girls bouquets come to life. After a beautiful ceremony backed up to the water, the party was about to get started. It was almost surreal how perfect everything was. After an excellent meal and a ton of dancing the night was coming to a close but not before a private fireworks display! It was such an incredible experience for us to be able to capture so many incredible images for Jasmyne and AJ. They are two amazing people and their friends and family are the same. They have and awesome group of people surrounding them and we consider it a privilege to have been able to get to know them all.
