Aimee and Nicole were on the hunt for same sex wedding photographers that could creatively capture their wedding day. When they reached out to us we were beyond thrilled! Up to this point we had not had the opportunity to photograph a same sex couple but we really wanted to. We are so glad that Aimee and Nicole asked us to be their same sex wedding photographers even though they knew we did not have experience photographing a same sex couple! Now the rest is history.
These two stunning brides spent the morning getting ready in Founders’ Hall at Congress Hall. They stayed in the same room while they got their hair and makeup done. When it was time to get in their wedding dresses they split up to do so. Then they waited to see each other for the first time during their emotional first look. While they were getting ready one of their guests was given the task of lacing up their matching “Jordans”. Yup! That’s right! These two, along with the entire bridal party, wore Jordans! So epic!
Aimee and Nicole had their wedding ceremony on the lawn of Congress Hall overlooking the beach. We forgot to mention their wedding took place in November so it was seriously cold outside! That didn’t seem to bother these two love birds though. They never even asked for a jacket the whole time we were outside!
After the ceremony it was time to get the party started. Aimee and Nicole had the most amazing group of friends and family attending their big day. It was one of the most epic wedding receptions we have captured to date. Don’t believe us? Just scroll down and you will see!
We want to wish Aimee and Nicole the absolute best in their new life together! Congrats you two!
